Afridi’s Huge Sixes Against Harbajhan. India’s tour to Pakistan in 2006 was a partial success for both the countries. Rahul Dravid’s men were able to snatch the ODI series 4-1 against the hosts Pakistan. Prior to the ODIs Pakistan already had won the test series 1-0. The first two tests of the series ended as draw and in the final match Pakistan managed to steal a comprehensive victory against the Indian team. In the first test Pakistan made some huge number of runs and in them one innings was of 103 runs from Shahid Afridi.
Afridi was able to hit four sixes of the first four balls before he top edged fifth ball and missed his course. The first hit went to deep mid-wicket as Afridi used his feet to reach to the pitch of the ball and smoked it long and hard into the stands. Afridi snatched 27 runs in that over making it the second highest run producing over in test cricket. Afridi eventually fell out to Agarkar with Harbajhan taking his catch. Afridi made a staggering 103 runs of just of 111 balls.
